THE CITYHALL OF SUNDSVALL 23 MARS 2007

The Mersey Beatles sounds better live than the real Beatles. Yesterday they played in the cityhall. I myself never saw The Beatles live. Not many Swedes did, because the visits to Sweden in the 60:ies was not many. Black and white tv-pictures and lots of radio saved the hungry teenagers. The record lists was guides and in the magazine Bildmagazine we could read about our idols. The latest records we could listen to on the radio-north on a buzy transmitting, so thats why I shivered some when The Mersey Beatles from Liverpool started the intro yesterday night. It was a night full of memories in front of sold out event.

But the thing is that The Mersey Beatles probably sound better live this evening than the real Beatles sounded on their live-concerts in 60-70:ies In the early Beatles tunes, who opened the concert is the band brilliant. The instruments sounded exactly as they should and the voices is in perfect harmony, which not always was the case in the 60:ies. It was almost to perfect. even the typical chat between Paul and John was perfect. The Mersey Beatles has done this thousand times. All riffs has been trained, every movement, every break and every harmony. In to perfection. Practice makes quality and today they could call themselfes for The Absolute Perfect Beatles. They are good, very good, and I understand that the band is famous on the green island and has been selected to promote their hometown Liverpool.

Here it is full speed from the beginning and great contact with the public, We are invited to a journey through the history of Beatles from the start at Cavern Club and out in the world. From the first success to world famous artists. The Mersey Beatles know all Beatles tunes. A facinating journey and also a fascinating part of pop-history by a coverband that is more than other coverbands. After a short break we start of again in the 70:ies. Now the music change mood. TMB managed that perfect. David Howard, Jason Murray, Brian Ambrose and Steven Howard know their work. All four does their roles perfect and gives the audiance an unforgettable night.
Also very good were the trubadurs Jimmie Rudolfsson and Gary Quinn from Liverpool.

We had heard all before, but we want to hear it again, again and again. YEAH,YEAH,YEAH!
